Hi, I’m Kelly Shaw.
Are you constantly overwhelmed and burned out but find it impossible to say “no”? Do you go out of your way for others, hoping they’ll do the same for you? Maybe you feel like you’ve lost touch with who you are, or there’s a voice inside telling you you’re not good enough. I help people like you navigate relationships, build self-confidence, challenge anxious thoughts, and set healthy boundaries—the kind of skills we all wish we’d been taught earlier in life. It might feel like making a change is impossible or that prioritizing yourself is selfish, but here’s the truth: you deserve the same love and care you give to others.
I’m a millennial therapist with a modern, relatable approach. Working with me feels like talking to a friend—someone who’s objective, keeps you accountable, and is trained to help you work through all the uncomfortable stuff. Together, we’ll help you build confidence, set boundaries, and heal from the childhood wounds keeping you stuck in unhealthy patterns.
You don’t have to wait for things to get “bad enough” to seek help. You deserve support, too. If you’re ready to create calm in your life, strengthen your relationships, and start living for you, schedule a free intro call with me today. Let’s see if we’re a good fit.

My Approach
Research shows that your connection with your therapist is more important than the type of therapy they do. With that being said I pull from a variety of modalities. I predominantly use Emotionally Focused Therapy, CBT, and person-centered in practice.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Emotionally Focused
Person-Centered
Positive Psychology
Sandplay
Solution Focused Brief (SFBT)
Strength-Based
Experience
I have been practicing since 2021 and am trained in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, and Person Centered. I geek out over reading textbooks and learning about new modalities, bringing what is applicable to sessions.
